Breeding Sheet for Tetraponera rufonigra
Tetraponera rufonigra is an extremely aggressive ponerine ant. Their development is long, but the queen lays a large number of eggs, leading to colonies that can rapidly explode in size! They can live in a dry nest with a water source without any issues. Their sting is quite painful, and their mandibles can break through less resistant nests and soft plastic (beware of the caps on the feeding containers).
