Formica sanguinea Breeding Sheet

Formica sanguinea is a magnificent species of slave-making ants within the Formica genus. The workers are relatively large and extremely aggressive. Ideally, cocooned pupae of Serviformica should be occasionally provided to the colony so that the slave ants can attend to their brood, although the sanguinea workers are capable of doing so themselves.

Food: Sugary liquids, insects
