Camponotus maculatus subnudus is a magnificent species known for being the only Camponotus species to have naked nymphs! They are generally quite straightforward to raise, but they are sensitive to high temperatures (above 27°C).

– Queen Size: 14-15mm
– Worker Size: 6-12mm
– Polygyny: No
– Mature Colony Size: Approximately 1,500 workers
Maintenance Information:
– Humidity: 70-90%
– Temperature: 20-25°C (ideal at 23°C)
– Diapause: No diapause needed. A decrease in temperature to around 20°C during the winter is sufficient.
– Nest: Any nest equipped with a humid area suitable for the colony’s size will work.
Feeding:
– Diet: Sugary liquids and insects
